marc, it's gorgeous. and i love it because it's very obviously a marc salmon song but it's also got this totally different vibe...the stuff around 3 minutes in is just beautiful.

This is one of my favourites
I agree with acousticgrrl...your songwriting is improving all the time.
I love the lyrics. The capo on the guitar gives it a really nice tone.
You seem to have a nack of capturing a bucket load of feeling on your recordings.

the run to the solo, 2:35 is so sweet the guitars bring the song to life. not that you don't sing it well, cus executed your melody very nicely. strong sweeping vocals. its nice to hear you open up more vocal wise.your feeling more comfortable. (you sing your originals the best) wonderful build up for the intro btw I think its a quality draft.
see if you can't play with the ending. the drop feels to "all of a sudden".
nice work marc. once again your style is prevalent.

Pretty arrangement and I agree, it's nicely produced sonically for a draft.
Very clean, clear guitars and your voice is great.

This sketch gives strong hints of what's to come with this song, and I can't wait to hear a full version of it. I wasn't as instantly drawn as I have been by some of your other songs, but that's usually a good thing because it means it's a 'grower' which I finds gives a song greater longevity. Great lyrics btw, I love the mental image you've painted here.
As ever, nice work Marc!

Lovely solo... would have liked it longer, but that's just me..
Yes.. tremendous music matey.. real class..

My God, this is beautiful, I am riveted to the spot here by your poetry & playing. I have an album by Hope Sandoval & The Warm Invention (Bavarian Fruit Bread) I love it but your music knocks the hell out of it (sorry Hope Sandoval) this is dreamy & surely extremely marketable. WOW
thank you, awestruck

Firstly fantastic acoustic sound, very sweet warm tone.
And then there's your vocal. Effortless and full of emotion and they develop well throughout the song building in intensity.
The solo is very tasteful and fit's the song well.
Great song with subtle emotional moments throughout.

i really really like this. the only thing was that i didn't really like they way you panned your voice, it sounded louder in the left speaker than the right. maybe its my headphones but either way, awesome job as usual.

I remember the first time I heard you I thought it would be exciting to hear you once you got over that slight generic hump, and you most definetely have. makes me feel lazy.
This is very vivid and emotional. It conveys through a telecope, and out of a kaleidoscope, where all the intricacies dance and sway to the simple pulse of the song

Thanks for the comments man, i appreciate it. I've been talking with a friends friend and I have the possibility to record some songs in his studio-that'll be fun. So keep an eye on my dmusic-page for some new songs with a little cleaner sound
I like this song a lot, it´s on my mp3-player at the moment. I gave my friend a tip-off and she loves your songs, espacially the cannonball-cover (she´s a very big damien-fan) / Adamski
